The Wisconsin ASCD 2008 Fall Conference featured Jay McTighe on Understanding by Design and Carol Tomlinson on Differentiation. The Program Planning Committee is busy planning the 2009 Fall Conference: 21st Century Learning: Foundations and Future Directions, Sept. 30 - Oct. 2, 2009, Radisson Paper Valley Hotel, Appleton. Consider submitting a sectional proposal related to the topics of 21st Century Learning and blending 21st Century skills into classroom practice or exemplary programs related to WASCD prior conference themes of differentiation and grading and reporting. Proposals are due by Feb. 16, 2009. |
