Wisconsin ASCD is a state nonprofit organization founded in
1948. It is known and respected for its high quality programs and
services that support research-based, results-driven teaching and
learning. Wisconsin ASCD is the premier professional
development organization for educator leaders. We are
administrators, teachers, principals, superintendents, supervisors,
curriculum directors, professors and others – all dedicated to
quality teaching, learning and leadership.

The WASCD Board of Directors is made up of about 30 members who self-nominate for a three-year term. The Board of Directors leads the organization by carrying out its mission, vision and goals through a variety of committees and activities. They set the direction for the positions and activities of Wisconsin ASCD.
