This year, Brandon Krause received this award.  Brandon is the current Principal of Prairie View Elementary in the Beaver Dam Unified School District. He received this award at the Wisconsin ASCD Annual Fall Conference on October 17th, 2024.

Comments from Rob Meyer, Wisconsin ASCD Immediate Past President:

Brandon is one of the best leaders in the realm of improving instruction that I have ever met. Brandon, as a Principal, ensures his school is focused on specific goals, gets learning around those goals, plans to implement, and monitors implementation. He truly believes all students can and will be successful - working to make that happen every day. Brandon is also a dedicated learner and leader, being a model for his staff. Brandon has led Prairie View Elementary to high heights through continuous improvement and has been recognized as a national model PLC at Work.

Comments from Maria Kucharski, Wisconsin ASCD Executive Director:

It is an honor to present this award to Brandon. He is an incredible educator for the state of Wisconsin and we appreciate all of his hard work, dedication, and leadership. Congratulations, Brandon!
